Who we are

Cheeky Lounge is a cocktail bar and Cheeky Pool Club is a pool club. Both are in Puerto Vallarta's Zona Romántica, and both are gay venues.

Cheeky Lounge is open to everyone. Cheeky Pool Club is men only and clothing optional: guests may be partially or fully nude on the property. This role means being present at both venues every day, so we're looking for someone who moves through that environment with total ease and professionalism.

We're a new brand and we're growing fast. We want someone who wants to grow with us — not someone looking to cover a shift.

What the job is

We're looking for the General Manager who'll take the reins of daily operations at both venues. This is an on-the-floor job, not a desk job: you'll be there, solving things, coaching your team, and spending time with guests.

And you won't be doing it alone. You'll work alongside two managing partners and an executive assistant who'll back you up.

What you'll do

• Run daily operations at both venues and keep service, quality, and cleanliness where they should be
• Build, train, and motivate the team — including one-on-one coaching
• Set sales goals and get the team genuinely excited about hitting them
• Handle friction on the team early, fairly, and without drama
• Cash handling: register counts, shift closeouts, deposits, and shortage control
• Inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
• Spend real time with guests and fix anything that comes up on the spot
• Build a work culture that's positive, respectful, high-standards, and fun
• Run business errands (banking, suppliers, admin)

What you'll bring

• You've actually run a bar or restaurant — not just worked in one. You know what it's like when the numbers are on you.
• Experience leading and developing people, working against sales goals, and sorting out conflict between teammates
• Fluent Spanish and English, spoken and written (required)
• Your own car in good condition and a valid driver's license (required)
• Living in Puerto Vallarta, or ready to relocate
• Current documentation establishing your legal right to work in Mexico
• Schedule flexibility: days and nights, weekends and holidays
• Comfort in a gay venue and in a men-only, clothing-optional space

Bonus points: if your background is in gay bars in a tourist destination, we'd love to talk.

What we offer

• $35,000 - $45,000 MXN gross monthly, depending on experience
